Dosage information

As with other inhalation agents, lesser concentrations of isoflurane/sevoflurane are normally required to maintain surgical anesthesia (see MAC values).

The administration of general anesthesia must be individualized based on the patient’s response.


Sevoflurane is indicated for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in Adults and pediatric patients for inpatient and outpatient surgery.
